Your driver, Edward, will meet you at your hotel in Nairobi or pick you up from the airport and drive you to Ngare Ndare Conservancy via Nanyuki. Upon arrival, a forest ranger will be assigned to your group. After a short briefing, you will begin your hike to the famous waterfalls. Ngare Ndare Forest is home to seven beautiful waterfalls whose grandeur will leave you speechless. We will take a short break for a picnic lunch and then proceed to the canopy walk. The forest is dense, and you may spot elephants or even leopards. Later in the afternoon, we arrive at the hotel for check-in, dinner, and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart for Samburu National Reserve in Northern Kenya. On arrival, check in to the lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, begin a game drive in Samburu, known for its wild semi-arid landscapes and high concentration of wildlife. The reserve hosts lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalos, warthogs, hippos, impalas, waterbucks, and hundreds of bird species including Kingfishers, Bee-eaters, Tawny Eagles, Guinea-fowl, Lilac-breasted Rollers, Secretary Birds, Superb Starlings, hornbills, and vultures. The local Samburu culture adds to the beauty and uniqueness of the reserve.
Start the day with an early morning game drive lasting about two hours, then return to the lodge for breakfast. Spend the late morning relaxing and enjoying the lodge facilities such as the pool. After lunch, proceed for another afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After an early breakfast, check out of the lodge. Enjoy a final game drive as you exit the reserve before proceeding to your next destination.
