Tsavo West National Park
Tsavo West National Park can be reached from Mombasa and costal region. This will take you to the wilderness part which is largest conservation area of Tsavo. You will be able to explore both African Flora and Fauna. You will enjoy the views of volcanic hills and the spectacular Mzima springs coming from the underground lava rock. The highlight of Tsavo West is the opportunity to visit the endangered black rhino sanctuary within the park. Sightings of birdlife in Tsavo West National Park include Yellow-throated Sandgrouse, Black-faced Sandgrouse, Kori Bustard, White-Bellied Bustard, Buff-Crested Bustard, Black-bellied Bustard, purple -crested Bustard and Hartlaund’s Bustard which are species under Otidiformes, and Turaco .
Tsavo East National Park.
This park is a popular safari destination for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers.
The park is famous for its maneless lions and savannah grassland which is the home of a variety of wildlife.
The park has a large population of wild animals including the Africa big five and bird species that can be seen while in Tsavo East .The color of red elephants of Tsavo is caused by constantly dust-bathing with the Park’s fine red volcanic soil . They also eat minerals from the red soil .
The bird species in Tsavo East National Park has many dry- country species special to this area. Species including the magnificent golden- breasted Bustard, golden Pipit and the Vulturine Guinea fowl. The park is also home for the Somali ostrich and other bird species including the Somali bee-eater and Taita falcon.
Four Days Safari To Tsavo West And Tsavo East .
Day 1.
Early morning you will be picked up by our safari driver guide Edward from your hotel in Mombasa or on the coast after breakfast. We drive to Tsavo West National Park arriving in the mid morning to begin your game drive on your way to the lodge, to checking in and have lunch.
After lunch will continue with a game drive, and observe
cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, maneless lion among other animals. We will include a visit to the black rhino sanctuary and observe them at a closer range. We will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2.
We start early after breakfast. And drive to Mzima springs. And observe hippo and crocodile at peace with each other.You will then leave the park with game drive heading to Tsavo East National Park arriving time for lunch. Checking in at the lodge and have lunch.
After lunch continue with game drive viewing more animals and birds. And then return to the lodge before sunset for dinner and overnight.
Day 3.
Today enjoy your breakfast at the lodge and then leave for a full day game drive. A picnic lunch will be served, followed by game drive to the lodge arriving early evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 4.
After breakfast check out the lodge and leave the park with game drive before your journey to the coast region or Mombasa, arriving at your accomodation for lunch and overnight .
