  • Budget: $800–$1,500pp — day hikes and shorter Point Lenana treks on Sirimon/Naromoru.
  • Mid-Range: $1,600–$3,000pp — 5-day Chogoria, combined Kenya+Kilimanjaro acclimatization trips.
  • Premium / Luxury: $3,100+pp — technical Batian expeditions, private guides, premium lodges.

Is it cheaper than Kilimanjaro?

Yes — significantly. A comparable 4-day Mount Kenya trek ($850) is roughly half the cost of a 6-day Kilimanjaro trek ($1,750), mostly because Kilimanjaro's park fees alone are around $820 per person. See the full comparison.
