Two of Africa's greatest wildlife destinations in five days: the endless plains of the Serengeti and the world's largest intact caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater. Expect lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and the densest predator population on the continent.
Drive or fly to the central Serengeti. Afternoon game drive.
Full-day game drive tracking the migration and big predators.
Morning game drive, drive to Ngorongoro Crater rim. Optional Olduvai Gorge visit.
Descend into the crater for a full-day game drive. Drive to Karatu.
Drive back to Arusha.
The Serengeti plains went on forever and the wildlife did not stop — lions, cheetahs, a serval, and a river crossing that left me speechless. The Ngorongoro Crater on the final day was a wildlife amphitheatre unlike anywhere I've been. Crossing from Kenya into Tanzania with CKS was seamless; every lodge, transfer and park permit was handled.
I have travelled across Africa and the Serengeti still stopped me in my tracks. The sheer density of wildlife is hard to describe — we counted over forty lions in three days. The camp CKS booked inside the park meant I fell asleep to hyena calls and woke up to giraffe walking past my tent. Pure magic.
